Living in Dianella

A bit about…

Dianella CentroLocated approximately 9kms from the CBD (some parts of the suburb are much closer), Dianella is home to 22,521 people and is one of Perth’s largest suburbs, covering an area of 10.71km (more than twice the size of Maylands and Mount Lawley).

It has the somewhat dubious honour of being home to all of Perth’s commercial TV stations (within Dianella are the highest hills and elevation in the Perth Metropolitan area outside of the Perth Hills themselves) and consistent with its geographical spread, has a wide mix of property and housing prices – from million dollar detached homes with sweeping city and hills views through to modest villas and units.

Whilst still close to the city, Dianella is very much a suburb – with shopping centres, sporting grounds, parks and open spaces, schools, churches, synagogues (it’s home to the majority of Perth’s Jewish Community) and a library.
