A haven for students and switched on fashionista’s, Op Shops, thanks also to our realisation of the need to re-cycle, are having a come back. My husband is so fond of Op Shops he hasn’t bought a new shirt in years. Here’s 5 to try:
Street Friends WA Op Shop & Vintage
872 Beaufort Street,
Inglewood
Open 9am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday.
This newly opened store supports the homeless in WA. Ignore FB, it’s definitely located in Inglewood!
Masonic Charity Outlet (Mount Lawley)
664 Beaufort Street,
Mount Lawley
Open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm
Saturday 10am to 4pm
This also relatively new store specialises in mens & womens designer labels, shoes and accessories. At the time of writing it had the best leopard print platforms in the window that sadly don’t fit me! 🙁
RSPCA’s Reloved Fashion (North Perth)
391 Fitzgerald Street,
North Perth
Call store for hours
With its focus on pre-loved vintage and contemporary fashion labels, it’s not the cheapest of Op Shop options but it does have lots of great designer label stuff! All proceeds to to the RSPCA WA.
768 Beaufort Street,
Mount Lawley
Open Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm
Saturday 9am to 5pm
Sunday 11am to 5pm
A massive shop full of all sorts of second hand goods where you can get lost for hours. My hubby’s hands down fave.
46 Eighth Avenue,
Maylands
Open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Saturday 9am to 3pm
Closed Sunday
Stocking clothes & bric a brac, this is a Maylands institution that’s been serving the community for years. Well worth a visit if you’re in the ‘hood.
And that’s a wrap for this week! Do you have an op shop fave we’ve missed that you’d like to give a shout out too? Let us know in the comments below 🙂
