Hip on Heritage

Budding and accomplished film makers are invited to make and submit short films of up to 7mins in length around the themes of ‘Heritage’ and ‘Mount Lawley’ for the inaugural Hip on Heritage Short Film Festival to be hold at the Astor Theatre on the 20th of November.

Sponsored and supported by the Mount Lawley Society, whose aims includes protecting, researching and promoting the history, buildings and townscapes in Inglewood, Mount Lawley and Menora, the festival aims to both promote the suburb of Mount Lawley and introduce and involve younger audiences and generations in local history and heritage.

The festival is open to all age groups and is free to enter and there’s an opportunity to win one of two $500 prizes.

The deadline for submissions is 5 November. For more details visit the website.
