Councils ask residents to rally to defence

What impact will the proposed local government boundary changes have on you?

The Cities of Stirling and Vincent are holding a community meeting and rally respectively this Sunday the 22nd of September to update affected residents and further support their campaigns against the proposed local government council amalgamations.

Stirling will hold a “Stay in Stirling” community meeting at the Dianella Community Centre at 18 Kerry Street, Dianella (a short walk from Centro Dianella) at 2:30pm. ┬áThere will be activities to keep the kids busy and a free sausage sizzle.

Vincent will hold its second “One In, ALL In” rally on Angove Street at 11:00am.

Residents concerned or wanting to know more about the proposed local government changes and what it will mean for their respective suburbs, local amenities and rates are urged to attend.
